In a shaker:
Add 1 oz. Glacier Dew
Add 3 oz. orange juice
Add 1/2 oz. cream (we use Kalispell Kreamery Half & Half)
Add ice
Shake and pour into juice mason
Top with vanilla bean soda (we use Dry Soda Co.)
Add extra ice, if desired

Sweet Mojo

 

In a shaker:
Add 1 oz. Glacier Dew
Add squeeze of one lime wedge
Add 3/4 oz. prickly pear puree (you can use any juice concentrate of your choice)
Add 3/4 oz. mint simple
Spank 2-4 mint leaves and throw into shaker
Add ice
Shake and pour into juice mason
Top with soda water
Add extra ice, if desired

In a rocks glass:
Add 1 oz. Glacier Dew infused with mulling spices
Add squeeze of one orange wedge
Add ice
Top with apple juice

How to infuse Glacier Dew with mulling spices: Open bottle of Glacier Dew, add 4 tablespoons of mulling spice into bottle, let sit 3-4 days, “Disturb” the settling of the spices periodically while infusing, strain mulling spices from liquor, funnel infused Glacier Dew back into bottle. Enjoy as desired!

Basil Lemonade

 

In a juice mason:
Add 1 oz. Glacier Dew
Add ice
Roll 2-4 basil leaves and slice, throw into glass
Fill glass with lemonade

 

 

Refreshmint

In a shaker:
Add 1 oz. Glacier Dew
1/2 oz. mint simple syrup
Lime wedge, squeezed
Ice
Shake and dump into juice mason
Top with Dry Cucumber Soda
Garnish with spanked mint

To make mint simple: In a pot, dissolve 2 ½ cups sugar with 2 ½ cups water. Bring to a boil. Turn off heat. Add 4 oz. fresh mint. Let steep for 30 minutes. Strain and cool for serving.

Add ice
Fill with orange juice (leave a little bit of space)
Add a splash of grenadine or cherry juice
Garnish with fresh cherry or orange wheel

 

Cheery Love

In a juice mason:
1 oz. Glacier Dew
1 oz. cherry simple (we recommend fresh, Flathead cherries)
Squeeze of fresh lime wedge, throw wedge out
Top with Dry Vanilla Soda
Garnish with fresh cherry

 

 

To make cherry simple: In a pot, heat and dissolve 1 cup sugar with 1 cup water. Add 1 cup muddled cherries. Bring to a boil. Put heat on low and let simmer for 20 minutes. Strain simple and cool for serving. (Yields about 16 oz.)

Montana Mule

 

In a copper mug:
Muddle one lemon wedge
Add ice
Add 1 oz. Glacier Dew
Top with ginger beer (we use Glacier Ginger, made in Whitefish, MT and otherwise recommend Cock’n Bull brand)

 

Rise and Shine

 

In a juice mason:
1 oz. Glacier Dew
Fresh lemon wedge, squeezed
Ice
Top with orange-carrot juice (we use R.W. Knudsen), leaving about one inch below the rim
Add ginger beer and a float of Little Cottonwood
Garnish with lemon wheel

 

 

 

 

Ginger simple:  Peel and chop fresh ginger into small pieces (we use a chunk about 5 inches long). In a pot, heat and dissolve 2 cups sugar with 2 cups water. Bring to a boil and add ginger. Turn down heat to low and let simmer for about 30 minutes. Strain and cool to serve.

In a rocks glass:

Crush ice (we use a canvas bag and wood mallet, the traditional way)

In a julep cup:
1 ½ oz. North Fork
3/4 oz. mint simple
Stir
Top with crushed ice
Add 4 drops aromatic bitters
Garnish with spanked mint

To make mint simple: In a pot, dissolve 2 ½ cups sugar with 2 ½ cups water. Bring to a boil. Turn off heat. Add 4 oz. fresh mint. Let steep for 30 minutes. Strain and cool for serving.

Mule Kick Margarita

In a shaker:
Add 1 oz. Mule Kick
Add 1/2 oz. prickly pear puree (you can use any juice concentrate of your choice)

Top with sour mix
Add extra ice if needed

Kicking Mule

In a copper mug:

Bloody Mary

In a mason jar:
Add 1 oz. Mule Kick (sub Glacier Dew if you don’t like extra spice)
Fill with ice
Top with Caesar or Bloody Mix of your choice
Garnish with an olive, pickle, pepperoncini and meat stick

 

 

Trail of the Cedars Cocktails

 

Enchanted Forest  

(Absinthe Frappe)

 

In a shaker:
1 oz. Trail of the Cedars Absinthe
1 oz. water
1 oz. mint simple
2 oz. half & half
Small scoop of ice
Shake until ice is almost completely dissolved
Dump into rocks glass filled with ice
Garnish with spanked mint

To make mint simple: In a pot, dissolve 2 ½ cups sugar with 2 ½ cups water. Bring to a boil. Turn off heat. Add 4 oz. fresh mint. Let steep for 30 minutes. Strain and cool for serving. (For this cocktail, we like to add a little green food coloring to the simple, after straining.)

Northern Lights 

In a rocks glass: 
Ice
1/2 oz. Trail of the Cedars Absinthe
1 oz. Glacier Distilling Gin
Top with grapefruit soda (we use San Pellegrino)
Add a float of Little Cottonwood liqueur
Garnish with fresh lemon wedge

In a shaker:
Make a “quick” simple in the bottom, stirring a small scoop of brown sugar with a small splash of water
Add 1  1/2 oz. North Fork Whiskey
3 drops aromatic bitters
Scoop of Ice
Shake and strain into chilled glass with Trail of the Cedars Absinthe rinse
Garnish with lemon twist

 

Bad Rock Cocktails

Bad Rock Peach

In a shaker:
Muddle two slices of a peach
Add 1 oz. Bad Rock
Add 3/4 oz. rosemary maple simple syrup
Squeeze one lemon wedge into shaker – toss wedge in trash
Add ice
Shake and pour into rocks glass
Add more ice if necessary
Add a sprinkle of smoked sea salt      

Old Montanan

In a shaker:
2 oz. Bad Rock Rye
1/2 oz. Daughter of the Sun
6 drops orange bitters
Ice
Shake and strain into rocks or martini glass
Garnish with a cherry and an orange twist

Add 2 oz. Wheatfish Whiskey

Hot Buttered Wheatfish 

 

In a mug:
1 ½ oz. Wheatfish
2 generous spoonfuls of hot buttered rum mix
Hot Water
Garnish with an orange twist wrapped around a cinnamon stick

 

Double Fishting 

 

 

In a shaker:
1 oz. Wheatfish Whiskey
1 oz. basil simple syrup
¾ oz. fresh squeezed lemon juice
Ice
Shake and dump into rocks glass
Top with Wheatfish Lager
Garnish with spanked basil and lemon wheel

To make basil simple: In a pot, dissolve 2 ½ cups sugar with 2 ½ cups water. Bring to a boil. Turn off heat. Add 4 oz. fresh basil. Let steep for 30 minutes. Strain and cool for serving.

 

Vodka Cocktails

MT Gray Wolf

In a rocks glass:
Add ice
Add 1 oz. Vodka
Fill glass 2/3 full with cold brew coffee
Add a splash of cream (we use Kalispell Kreamery Half & Half)
Top with a splash of Coke

 

Refreshmint 

In a shaker:
1 oz. Glacier Distilling Vodka
1/2 oz. mint simple syrup
Lime wedge, squeezed

Shake and dump into juice mason

1 oz. Glacier Distilling Vodka

In a juice mason:
1 oz. Fireweed
Ice
Fill with rosemary lemonade
Garnish with spanked rosemary

 

 

To make rosemary lemonade: In a pot dissolve 4 cups sugar with 4 cups water. Bring to a boil. Turn off heat and add about 3 oz. fresh rosemary. Let steep for 30 minutes. Strain rosemary out of simple. Put simple into one-gallon container. Add 1 quart of lemon juice. Top container with water. Shake/stir well before serving. (Yields one gallon.)

Fireweed Old Fashioned

In a rocks glass:
Muddle orange wedge with teaspoon of brown sugar and two cherries (we usehouse whiskey-soaked cherries)
Add small scoop of ice
2 oz. Fireweed
Add splash of sparkling water, if desired
Top with 5 drops aromatic bitters

Afterglow

In a rocks glass:
1 oz. Fireweed
1 oz. golden balsamic raspberry shrub
Stir
Add Ice
Top with sparkling soda
Garnish with fresh orange wheel and spanked rosemary

 

To make golden balsamic raspberry shrub: combine 6 oz. raspberry puree with 1 ½ oz. golden balsamic vinegar. Add simple syrup to taste, for desired sweetness. (Simple syrup not necessary if using “perfect puree” brand, which already has sugar added.) Shake to mix well before serving.

Firebrand Pass

In a shaker:
1 oz. Fireweed
1 oz. Spiced Cranberry Simple
1 oz. Citrus Mix
Ice
Shake and dump into glass
Top with Ginger Beer
Garnish with fresh cranberries, cinnamon, anise, or spanked rosemary

 

To make spiced cranberry simple: In a pot, heat 1 cup packed brown sugar, 1 cup raw sugar, 1 cup cranberries (fresh or frozen), 1 ½ cups water, 5 cinnamon sticks, and two star anise. Simmer for 20 minutes. Strain and cool for serving. (Yields about 16 oz.)

 

To make citrus mix:  combine two parts orange juice to one part each of lime and lemon juices

 

Gold Miner Cocktails

Sundance

In a shaker:
1 oz. Gold Miner
2 oz. orange juice
2 oz. pineapple juice
Ice
Shake and dump into juice mason
Top with Dry Lemongrass Soda
Garnish with fresh lime

 

Hot Spiked Cider

In a mug:
2 oz. Gold Miner
Top with house made cider
Garnish with whipped cream and a sprinkle of cinnamon or nutmeg (optional)

To make cider:
Heat one gallon jug of apple juice with 10 cinnamon sticks, sprinkle of nutmeg, teaspoon of clove, teaspoon of allspice, ½ cup packed brown sugar and the slices of one orange. Bring to a boil. Strain ingredients. Keep heated for serving.

Sidecar

In a shaker:
Muddle lemon wedge
Add 1 oz. Gold Miner
¼ oz. Little Cottonwood
½ oz. honey simple
Ice
Shake and strain into martini glass
Garnish with orange twist

Gold Miner Toddy

In a mug:
2 oz. Gold Miner
1oz. brown sugar, cinnamon simple
Fresh lemon wedge, squeezed
Hot water
Garnish with lemon twist and cinnamon stick

 

The Braavosi

In a shaker:
1 ½ oz. Gold Miner
¾ oz. lemon concentrate
¾ oz. ginger simple
Orange wedge squeezed
Ice
Shake and strain into martini glass
Top with a quick squeeze of blueberry simple and 2 dashes of cardamom bitters
Garnish with spanked sage

Winter is Coming

In a juice mason:
1 oz. Gold Miner
Ice
Top with rosemary lemonade
Add a float of spiced cranberry simple
Top with 5 drops aromatic bitters
Garnish with spanked rosemary and “heads on a spike” (fresh cranberries & candied ginger on a cocktail skewer)

To make rosemary lemonade: In a pot dissolve 4 cups sugar with 4 cups water. Bring to a boil. Turn off heat and add about 3 oz. fresh rosemary. Let steep for 30 minutes. Strain rosemary out of simple. Put simple into one-gallon container. Add 1 quart of lemon juice. Top container with water. Shake/stir well before serving. (Yields one gallon.)
